The Source column allows you to specify the subcircuit definition and parameters for a DVM source. The source column can be blank.
The following table describes the acceptable source configurations.
Function | Description |
Dc() | Configures a DC source with the specified DC voltage. |
Ramp() | Configures a PWL source with the specified voltage levels. |
Pulse() | Configures a PWL source with the specified voltage levels |
Saw() | Configures a sawtooth source with the specified parameters. |
Squ() | Configures a square wave source with the specified parameters. |
Tri() | Configures a triangle wave source with the specified parameters. |
Pul() | Configures a pulse source with the specified parameters. |
PulZRFT() | Configures a zero rise and fall time pulse source with the specified parameters. |
Sin() | Configures a sinusoidal source with the specified parameters. |
Cos() | Configures a cosinusoidal source with the specified parameters. |
Exp() | Configures an aperiodic exponential decay pulse source with the specified parameters. |
AcFixed() | Configures a standard sine wave input voltage source with the specified RMS voltage and frequency. |
AcDropout() | Configures an AC source with line dropout starting from and returning to the specified RMS voltage and frequency. |
AcStartup() | Configures an AC source which starts at 0 volts and turns into an AC voltage source with specified RMS voltage and frequency. |
AcSurgeSag() | Configures an AC source which starts at the normal RMS voltage and steps to the RMS sag or surge voltage before returning to the normal RMS voltage. |
AcQSW() | Configures a Quasi-Square-Wave source with specified pulse parameters. |
AcGlitch() | Configures
an AC source with the specified RMS voltage and
frequency.
|
SubCkt() | Configures the subcircuit definition using SUBCKT_NAME. |
Source() | Configures
the subcircuit to use the specified DC voltage
without changing the subcircuit definition. Most often used with Full Power Assist to change input voltage levels without overriding configuration changes resulting from the use of an Analysis/Objective specification. |
AcSource() | Changes the subcircuit
parameters
but does not change the subcircuit definition. Most often used with Full Power Assist to change input voltage levels without overriding configuration changes resulting from the use of an Analysis/Objective specification. |
To configure managed sources, follow these steps:
Subcircuit definitions for the various source configurations are defined in the following topics
